Peace Corps Blog, Dominican Republic, Daniel Wendt
It is never too early to prepare for a big Thanksgiving celebration in the Peace Corps Dominican Republic. It is a week long process where State Department workers, employees of USAID and Peace Corps staff allow volunteers to bake in their kitchens. See their mouths water as volunteers begin thinking about juicy turkey, pumpkin pie and Pilgrims. Last year we had a sports tournament that included a 5K, Flag Football, Kickball and Ultimate Frisbee followed by drinks at a rooftop hotel pool and 200 person dinner with a talent show that I hosted with my buddy Ekow.
It was such a riot.
Above is the t-shirt design for this year’s PCDR Thanksgiving Celebration. Who doesn’t love a good v-neck?
